About Maya Astha

Maya Astha is an Australian multidisciplinary writer-artist. Her work explores topics of alienation, injustice, culture, modern life and motherhood. She writes poetry and fiction. Read some of her works on Medium.

Her art practice is multidisciplinary. She creates illustrations and patterns drawing heavily from her Indian ancestry, as well as surreal and whimsical designs. She also explores embodied means of creating and exploring.
